Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam has a six hundred year old triptych acquired. It is a work of the German artist known as ‘the Master of st Veronica’, with Mary with child, saints, and other scenes from the life of Christ. On the outside is the Christ carrying the cross.

The olieverfschildering on panel is in 1410, made in Cologne.

After arriving at the museum is the work shown in a gallery in the permanent collection, preparation, until 13 January to see. Next comes in the selection of the highlights, an exhibition that from 9 February until 26 may.

The museum will next year close due to renovation, but for the moment, not at all. On 9 February, there is also an exhibition about the legendary designer program the Bauhaus movement, which until the end of may takes.
